Speed meter

Measure your speed using the Geolocation API and DeviceMotion event.

Start the meter to request location and motion access.

This is a smoothed estimate, so it responds with a short delay. Speed may be unavailable on some devices. Motion cannot measure travel speed by itself, and holding a phone still in a moving vehicle can look stationary to its motion sensor.
